Inside the Headset with the AFCA

Oct 8, 2020

This week on Inside the Headset we are featuring Oklahoma Baptist University Associate Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach Brayle Brown. Coach Brown shares his transition into the coaching profession, offers insight on implementing a two-quarterback system, and highlights the importance of translating key concepts to players on the field.

Brayle Brown joined the OBU coaching staff in 2019 as the quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator. Following a record-setting season by the Bison offense, he was promoted to associate offensive coordinator.

Prior to joining the OBU staff, Brown spent the previous year as a graduate assistant, coaching running backs at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He also served one season as a graduate assistant at Avila University, an NAIA program in Kansas City, Missouri.

Brown played college football at the University of Louisiana Monroe, appearing in 24 games, including two starts, during his sophomore and junior campaigns.
