Inside the Headset with the AFCA

May 16, 2019

This week on Inside the Headset we speak with Rob Everett, who most recently coached tight ends and was a defensive assistant for the Memphis Express in the AAF. We discuss how he has incorporated technology to more efficiently coach and teach players at the high school, college, and professional levels. The best part? All the technology he uses is free.

Rob Everett's coaching career began as an offensive line coach at Washington-Lee HS (VA) in 2002. From there, he worked with the offensive lineman at Robert E. Lee HS (VA) for two seasons (2004-2005) before being promoted to head coach of the program (2006-2010). Coach Everett then went on to serve as the defensive coordinator at Westfield HS (VA) from 2011-2015 before jumping to the collegiate level at Bridgewater College, where he was the defensive coordinator (2016-2018). Everett coached in the Alliance of American Football with the Memphis Express under Head Coach Mike Singletary in 2019.
