This week on Inside the Headset we are featuring Pecos High School (TX) Head Coach, Chad Olson. Coach Olson discusses the importance of high school football, the challenges of leading a football team through adversity, and how he turned around the Pecos High School football program.

Chad Olson has been a Texas High School football coach for over 20 years. He was named the head coach and athletic director at Pecos High School in July of 2019. Prior to this dual role, Olson was the offensive coordinator at Pecos (2018-19). Before Pecos, he assumed the role of wide receivers coach at Giddings High School (2014-18). Olson also has coaching stops at Smithville High School (OC, 2012-14), Gatesville Junior High (HC, 2009-2012), Clifton High School (WR/OLB, 2002-09), Salado High School (RB/DL, 2000-02), and Evant High School (AC, 1998-2000).
